3. Why we use it
- Running your registration — creating it and verifying you.
- Delivering programmes — registrations, joining links, reminders, attendance, assessments and feedback.
- Issuing certificates — in your name and registration number.
- Meeting legal requirements — attendance and assessment records that councils or authorities may require, and tax and accounting records.
- Recommending programmes — showing sessions that match your specialty and interests first.
- Marketing messages — only if you have agreed to receive them by email or WhatsApp.
- Improving our teaching — using attendance, assessment and feedback figures, combined across learners, to improve sessions.
- Safety and security — preventing misuse, fraud and unauthorised access.
We process your data on the basis of your consent, or where the law permits processing for a legitimate use such as meeting a legal obligation.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who process it for us under contract: website hosting (Cloudflare), email (Zoho), WhatsApp Business (Meta Platforms), payments (Razorpay), and the video platform used to run sessions.
- Faculty — only your name and questions within a session you attend.
- Accrediting bodies or medical councils — attendance and certificate records, where a programme is accredited and they require it.
- Authorities — when the law requires it.
Some providers may store data outside India. Where they do, we transfer it only as the law allows.
5. How long we keep it
- Registration and profile: while your registration is active, and deleted 3 years after your last activity unless you ask sooner.
- Certificates and attendance records: 8 years, so certificates can be verified and council requirements met.
- Payment and tax records: as long as tax law requires.
- Session recordings: 12 months after the session.
- Logs of consent and security events: at least 1 year.
6. How we protect it
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls so only staff who need data can see it, activity logs, and regular backups. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
7. Your rights
- See what data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct or update it.
- Delete it, except what the law requires us to keep.
- Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to.
- Complain to our Grievance Officer. We will reply within 30 days and in any case within the time the law sets. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these rights, email admin@allindiacme.com.
8. Age
All India CME is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to register. If we learn that someone under 18 has registered, we will delete the registration.
9. Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first.
10. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will tell you by email or on the site before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
